WVC Adult Basic Skills taking reservations for fall-quarter orientations

The Wenatchee Valley College Adult Basic Skills department is accepting reservations for fall-quarter 2012 orientations. Both morning and evening orientation sessions will be held in September. CASAS entrance testing and registration for fall-quarter English as a second language, adult basic education and GED prep classes are completed at the orientations.

Interested students should visit the Adult Basic Skills department in Wells Hall room 1042D to make an appointment, or they may call 509.682.6790. Students referred to Adult Basic Education after taking the COMPASS test should bring a copy of their COMPASS results and any class schedules they may already have.

Adult Basic Skills classes begin Sept. 24 and are held Monday through Thursday. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are offered. The cost is $35, regardless of how many classes the student registers for. Tuition will be collected at the end of the orientation when students register for specific classes.
